Based on this advertisement, it appears that the only way to run Java webapps is through a bloated J2EE application server, and JBoss is the only choice:-( Most apps don't require 80% of a J2EE server (or the complicated configuration and learning curve). I prefer Tomcat or Jetty over JBoss. And why is OpenShift still not "Production" ready? How long has RedHat and its partners been working on it? What's the delay? Will it ever be production ready?
