If this was buzzword bingo Gregor probably would be an instant winner with his session title. Nevertheless, patterns and service-oriented architectures do have very interesting and relevant intersection points. Both terms are fashionable, somewhat blurry and often abused.

I'd much rather see people post links directly to the actual content in question, instead of to blogs about the content. In this case, the actual link is http://www.javapolis.com/S106/talks/soapatterns/. (This page resizes the browser -- consider opening it in a new window).

Hi, all the future JavaPolis, BeJUG and SpringOne talks will only be made available through the Parleys site.
Even better, we're working on integrating the talks within the Parleys pages similar to what InfoQ.com is doing... :o))

You can see a beta version of the embedded Parleys player now for the Patterns in SOA talk @

For now Firefox only :o)

Hope you like it ?

Yes it resized the window and nothing has opened in it too. I don't have any idea regarding the patterns in SOA. I just know to download games from http://gnuf.com/online-casino/download/ and playing online casino at http://gnuf.com/online-casino/
