Look, guys! Another insightful comment by antych.

The issue of whether or not to use autoloading has been pounded back and forth, and benchmarked ad nauseum. The debate isn't whether or not autoload is slower, everyone knows it is. The debate concerns whether or not the productivity benefits outweigh the cost. My solution keeps the productivity benefits without using autoload at all. Bad kitty.

In other words you have no idea what you gain from those "optimizations"... you added complexity without any proved benefits. A basic rookie mistake.
