Server2Go is a Webserver that runs out of box without any installation. That means it is a webserver that can run directly from cdrom, usb stick or from any folder on harddisk. Server2Go allows you to create a standalone working web site or PHP application on a CD-ROM.

Sounds like a cool (albeit, not original) idea. Unfortunately, stability seems to be leaving something to be desired since the link is presently down. :-)

I had used and loved Server2Go for a while, but the version of PHP never supported mysqli, so I switched to WOS (Web site On a Stick) and never looked back.

However, it looks like they recently updated to use PHP 5.2.3 and MySQL 5.0.41, so I may have to give it another shot.

Site is up.
