Postgres Plus Advanced Server 9.1 is the first database to enable transaction-level control over synchronous replication – a big performance booster and a big step toward giving end users maximum power over their environments. Improvements to speed read/write and the addition of unlogged tables (another power/flexibility boosters) and Virtual Private Databases round out the key features.
