This graph shows a view on how the web might grow and advance towards Web 4.0, adding new functionality along the way. Whether by that time, it will still be called the Web, and what it will run on I guess is open to debate...

I might go for a Web 5.0 just so I get in first, and can be called a "visionary" by future generations ;-)

Tufte would flip out over this bizarre graph. It's a pile of information that makes no sense in graph format as it is.. there are three dimensions being mapped on to two. In a more literal sense, did Web 2.0 really start in 2000? The term was only created approx 2005, and sites between 2000-2004 were little more advanced than those during the boom.

I think the general jist of the /information/ given here is good, and the intention seems good too, but the actual form of that information is bizarre.
