As most programmers know the more you learn the harder things get, I’m finding this to be true. The more I learn about how I “should” code the less fun coding gets.

Just keep writing more code, kid. Maybe take an English class, too.

I'm the opposite--the more I learn the more fun it gets. If that isn't the case for you, I'd consider a different hobby/profession--you never stop learning (hopefully), so it'll only get worse.
