Programming is Hard, Let's Go Scripting...

++ on the link but it would help if you had added something like "Larry Wall's 2007 State of the Onion address" to the comment. The title and link don't make it immediately obvious that this is Larry's yearly talk or that he talks about a variety of "scripting" languages in this talk as well as a little about the future of Perl.
