Construct is a python package that parses/builds data structures (file formats, network protocols, etc.). Sure, there are many libraries that do just that (protocol analyzers, PE-explorer, dumpelf, ...) but none is like it. Construct's main idea is being declarative -- you define the data structure -- not the code that parses it.
