I can't dispute Python being easier to learn and use than Perl (and why would I?), but for the sake of balance I must point out that Perl has also always had dynamic typing and its pragmas make "antigravity"-scale changes to code execution common-place.
Oh, and Python 3000 will break the Hello World example when it makes "print" a function for the sake of consistency.
