Rails, Databases, ActiveRecord and the path towards damnation
The last two days I've spent some thought on databases and Rails. I haven't gotten far, but I do know that Rails have serious trouble with regard to databases.

I think this blog expresses many of my concerns with RoR. I love some of the things I've been able to do easily and quickly in Rails. But for it take off out of hypeville and into the mainstream, it has a lot of growing up to do (which I hope it does).

Oh, I'm not a fan of MySQL at all but it's definitely not slow.
