Hourly wages for highly-skilled technology professionals continued to climb in the first quarter of 2007, when compared to the same period in 2006. Pay rates reached $31.80 in February 2007, the highest wage average since Yoh began measuring in 2001. The quarter's record-breaking wages showed a 5.5% increase at the beginning, when compared to the same period in 2006. At the close of the first quarter, technology wages experienced a more moderate 3.2% increase.
