Replace Prototype with JQuery on Rails
Looking for Prototype/script.aculo.us replacement on Rails? jRails project can be an answer if you prefer JQuery.

This was brought up a couple of months ago, just search "jrails". I gave it a whirl and a couple of months ago when I got back into rails a bit and it worked as promised, which was good because I prefer jQuery over proto/script.
