Resiliency is a Key Cloud Characteristic
This article reflects on a recent National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) drafted definition of Cloud Computing. NIST lists five essential characteristics of cloud computing, including on-demand self-service, broad network access, and resource pooling. Morgenthal argues that one element is missing from this definition: Resiliency.
