Best thing i read all year... so far. I do think it's telling when a tools creator says use my tool for xyz, but doesn't use it themselves when they have the chance. But some limits should be understood. Like the author said, "dzone is fine to use Drupal", and i agree. But if dzone built java based web technology, totally different story. I wish more frameworks would eat their own dog food, no excuses.

Stupid. By this guys logic, Amazon's catalog should be available only in book form.

no, by Joe's logic Amazon's catalog should all be hosted on ec2 with media on s3, which to my knowledge it is.
