Which books should you read/buy when you are a programmer? Five books are featured here that should help every developer. The books are not specific to any language so it doesn't matter if you are a Java, Python or .Net programmer

Nice list. But I'd add Robert Glass's 'Facts And Fallacies Of Software Engineering'. There's a review here: http://www.techbookreport.com/tbr0018.html
The book contains a lot of good sense, though it's not as focused on coding as 'Code Complete' is.
