Agile Development is all about developing code and seeking feedback from your users to make sure you’re developing what’s relevant. When changes are suggested, they must be affordable and reliable. Grails, along with its facility to develop test driven, is a killer combination for rapidly developing web applications.

This is a good video. wish I could see the projection better. I do have a general gripe about this though. "A list of friends with their contact info.." So these types of apps really do showcase the ease of frameworks like Grails, Rails, etc. The problem is that I have never had a customer ask me to build them an app like this.
I would like to request that the next person that does a presentation do something real world. If it truly is as easy as they all say, then what's the problem? Why these useless demo applications?
