Steve are about to buy something. thats what he told on public. the most useful purchase for apple would be Adobe right now... Microsoft unable to buy right now because of imbalance of free cash. all invested to new Windows generation development.

It would be an undoing of all the advances Adobe has made to make Linux a first-class citizen for Flash.

Somewhat of a fluff post, "So what we have now is: Apple+MacOS is one of the best platforms for developers..." Not really so for Java devs unless you throw out your MacBook everytime a new one comes along and are willing to wait for versions of Java Win&Linux have had for years.
