bettercodes.org aims to engage software developers to share their ideas and empower them to turn those ideas into open source code that works. It does so by connecting like-minded developers and enables them to collaborate on anything related to coding. We believe in the power of open source and the developer community. As an independent open source project we are not bound to any company, any kind of technology or any license model.

(down-voted) Perhaps a link to a blog post about why YOU like bettercodes.org would be more useful to the community.

Think this is a great idea... a community for developers created by developers without advertising and payments... AND compared to others, full control about my personal data.... I gave bettercodes.org a try and well, I recommend, anybody to try too
