Database handling is really easy with the Eclipse Dali project. This article explains how to use use Eclipse Dali for handling databases. Eclipse provides the WTP (Web Tool Platform) plug-in which contains the sub-project Dali. This article assume that you have already Eclipse and the WTP installed. If not use the Eclipse update manager to install WTP.

The author seems confused about something. He says he talks about Dali, while really talking about Data Tools ( http://www.eclipse.org/datatools/ ), Dali is for the O/R mapping support ( http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/dali/main.php ), which only gets mentioned in passing.
