Don’t use Chrome browser? Google would like you to. In fact, they would like you to so much that if you go to the Google homepage, and you’re not already using Chrome, there is an advertisement in the upper right hand corner letting you know that the fastest way to browse the web is by installing the Googlebrowser.

But Chrome is not quite complete and there are aspects and details to iron out.
(Ref: chrome 4.0.249.43, on Linux Ubuntu 9.10)
On other platforms, it may be different.

What's not complete? I've been using it for months on Ubuntu and I'm very pleased with it.

Yep sure - google build chrome and now they are promoting it - no surprise right. Also I don't think google has eaten so much into firefox's share as much as it has taken in IE.
Of course interesting to watch where things go from this point on!

Yes, what's very interesting will be Google vs. Mozilla. It's clear that Internet Explorer is going to have a tough time competing - most of us had to put up with IE for so long we have no reason to ever want to go back now.
