Some thoughts about the usage of OR frameworks in Enterprise applications, problems with data retrieval (SQL select queries) in OR frameworks and automatic SQL query generation for update statements.

His english could be better, but i agree with his major point. ORM systems make short work of the C-U-D in CRUD, but have had a hard time providing a query facility that's better than plain old SQL.

Sorry paul, but then you have not used a good ORM or a well done model.
I am not sure what his problem is. I use a mixture of reading full domain objects and projections. Pretty easy.
