Ken Russell is a member of the Java SE Deployment team at Sun Microsystems. He and his team have been involved in rewriting the browser Java plug-in. Previously he worked on the Java HotSpot VM for several years. He also leads the JOGL project and is one of the "Gang of Three" with Richard Bair and Jasper Potts who developed the IRIS demo for JavaOne 2007. Here he talks about the browser Java plug-in.
