Packt publishing have recently released a new and interesting JavaScript book that teaches users how to create scalable and reusable JavaScript applications and libraries using the concepts of object-oriented programming. Written by Yahoo! Web developer Stoyan Stefanov.

The page is quoted as saying: "Ajax Magazine readers can download the sample chapter (PDF 872Ko) to have an idea on what the book is all about". Well, the sample chapter, is chapter 2. What does chapter 2 cover? "Primitive Data Types, Arrays, Loops, and Conditions". If the sample actually relates to "what the book is all about", then buyers are in store for a book of remedial Javascript basics.
In evaluating books relating to OO JS, I would much prefer a chapter that actually covered, you know, OO JS.

I agree. If chapter two covers basic programming paradigms, what does chapter one covers? how is this relevant in a methodology book?
