SPL (Standard PHP Library) has undeserving lack of interest from PHP-community. Mostly due to lack of documentation - this series of articles would try to close the gap a little.
The article discusses the predefined PHP5 interfaces, and serves as preliminary for SPL Interfaces discussion. You would never have better time learning SPL, as with PHP5.3 out this extension could not be disabled, and is considered language core.
