There is a new Wordpress plugins site in the neighborhood, and it looks promising.
As a plugin author I must say that I like this plugins site more than the rest, because it seems to be designed with my needs as a plugin author in mind, for example:
I get download statistics, popularity information based on a users voting system and also user reviews, which I find refreshing.
