Ruby needs a facelift
The Ruby Association has announced a new competition to redesign the logo for the Ruby programming language. Contestants have until the end of the month to design a new logo that best represents the language.

didn't ruby just undergo a redesign? what could be more appropriate than a jeweled ruby as a logo? ruby!, you are such a vain language!
