Another chance to see Russel Winder on how the virtual machine based architectures of the 1990s, Python, Ruby and Java, currently cannot cope with the new hardware architectures, and why Java, Python and Ruby are all doomed. Watch it here:

"The Multicore Revolution gathers pace. Moore's Law remains in force -- chips are getting more and more transistors on a quarterly basis."

1. Moore's Law sais : the number of components in integrated circuits had doubled every year from the invention of the integrated circuit in 1958 until 1965 and predicted that the trend would continue "for at least ten years"

2. It's been proven that Moore's Law is starting to no longer be accurate: the 2010 update to the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors has growth slowing at the end of 2013

3. You don't even know what you're talking about. Your sentence there is not Moore's law, it's just a retardedly obvious statement. you might as well have started with "Hair on my head grows every quarter".

Somebody should make a collection of articles which start with a pompous sentence that can be dispporved in 5 seconds or less by only using Google and/or wikipedia. Should make for a good lough.
