SchemaSpy is a Java-based tool that analyzes the metadata of a schema in a database and generates a visual representation of it in a browser-displayable format. It lets you click through the hierarchy of database tables via child and parent table relationships.

The output this generates looks really nice..

Absolutely incredible... not many commercial tools even offer a browser-based format, and most of them don't come close to this.

I'd been using an eclipse plugin, Azzuri Clay, but the free version does not facilitate sharing models with non eclipse users (managers), I would take a screen shot and print that, which doesn't work too well for really complex databases. This looks like it will fill that gap nicely. The clay plugin allows you do do modeling and generates SQL so its still fantastically useful.
