Two-thirds of enterprise software developers—66.3 percent—use Eclipse. That’s according to the most recent Eclipse Adoption Study, conducted by BZ Research in November 2006. The study has an accuracy of 2 percentage points.

I never use and IDE that takes longer to start than my computer.

So, what IDE do you use? Obviously not IntelliJ (takes longer to start than Eclipse). And it couldn't be NetBeans. While NB startup time varies, on most machines I've tested it as a few seconds slower than Eclipse's.
So, you use...Notepad? :-)

i would have to think this is complete bullshit. i am a developer and can live my whole life without using eclipse. it is a good product but not always needed.
