SharpDevelop is a free, open-source, IDE for C#, VB.NET and Boo projects on Microsoft's .NET Platform. Version 4.0 has just been released and supports .NET 4.0.

Link to a terrible and useless site... I don't even think they link to the source. If they do, I can't find it amidst all of the ads. The article content is just a pitch for their own stuff.

Go to the SharpDevelop web page instead:

The link to sharpedevelope is in the ShareDev icon - you click it to go the site.
A more info section with the same link was accidently left about.
As to the ads - its a commercial site and pays its contribs (not much) and thats what the ads are for - just ignore them.
Sorry about not making the link more explicit - it was a real mistake as you can check if you look at any other news item.
It is tough trying to get it right 100% of the time, my apologies.
