Interesting read, though I find it apalling that the author lumps together "C++, Java, C#, Smalltalk, Ruby, etc." as "Object-Oriented Procedural Languages".
Any Smalltalk or Ruby zealot could list a dozen reasons why grouping these languages together makes no sense - so I won't do so here, suffice it to say that Ruby and Smalltalk are Dynamically typed vs the others listed which are Statically typed - a distinction which cannot be overstated.
