Too many wizards and pop ups. gets in the ways. Try the Intellij Spring support and see the difference.

I tried the SpringIDE and was surprised at how low-level it was.

When I think IDE I think of something that sould catapult me into productivity and I didn't get that with it. Everything seemed very manual and didn't take much of the chore off of the developer.
