Hey, how about a post that isn't (only) about the Oracle-Sun merger -- radical concept, right? SpringSource yesterday released SpringSource tc, essentially a repackaged version of Tomcat with non-open source enterprise-y stuff, like management and diagnostic tools, built into it. And of course you can pay money to SpringSource for support, too.

The SpringSource venture capitalists have already offered their company to Oracle. I'm sure!

I don't like lately some SpringSource ways of doing things but I really hope SpringSource can keep as it because they do more innovation that way than maybe if IBM or Oracle aproach to them and buy them. Also their support for Java and Java technologies have been awesome. SpringSource keep the great work.
