A complete Sun Java stack, including Java SE 6, GlassFish, JavaDB, and NetBeans, is now available with the latest release of Ubuntu v7.04 (Feisty Fawn).

OT but can DZone please get some other ads running. Much respect to Eckel, but seeing the same ad "thinking in Java, thinking in Flex" is becoming pretty annoying pretty fast. Its almost as if Adobe is playing a game of na-na-na-na-nah-nah with us Java "luddites".

Ah, its always good to see Sun chosing a favorite Linux distro to partner with as opposed to making sure that they worked with all of the major distros and had a standard Sun JVM on it. Kudos to Sun for missing the boat yet again. Maybe the next Linux distro they will support will be their own Java Desktop.
