JSF and Struts are the traditional component frameworks developers turn to for Web development. You have an alternative, however: Tapestry and Wicket are component-oriented Web frameworks designed to create Web applications. A simple example application implementing a to-do list workflow is developed here, using Tapestry and Wicket technologies.

This is a repeat posting and gives the impression of being written by someone biased against Tapestry (for instance, using Tapestry 4 when Tapestry 5 is fully available).

If you read the article, you'll notice that he gave a perfectly valid reason for reviewing Tapestry 4.1 rather than 5.0. I don't use Tapestry myself, but I would imagine that a lot of shops have stuck with 4.1 because of the compatibility-breaking changes in 5.0.

Incidentally, the author may well be biased in favor of Wicket, but the review itself is quite well done. It's virtually all code snippets, so it's hard to make the claim that bias has been injected into the opinion.

Voted down because I'm tired of seeing this article on DZone's front page.
