So.... let me get this straight. You screwed up and didn't read the documentation (or did not pay attention to it) and now you want to blame others for your own ineptitude? Also, why would you EVER install applications on a domain controller that aren't related to being a domain controller? Are you f'ing nuts? Here's a tip for free: if you do something stupid, don't blog about it; you'll just provoke people.
The bottom line is that YOU screwed up. I understand it would be frustrating, but your mistake alone shouldn't be the reason you switch to an alternative. As a word of advice, if you're installing Subversion on an active directory controller, you're doing it wrong.
You should do some investigating before you install Subversion and make an educated decision based on your needs rather than making a decision out of spite.
