I started a thread recently at Lambda-the-Ultimate.org called Functions shouldn't be lists, functions should be cast to lists, which was based on my previous blog entry The Types of Functions and Lists in Joy and Cat. However, the discussion has moved into an area I am very interested in: the usage of term rewriting strategies to do data type selection.
