Rick Ross originally asked me to post something from one of my blogs to dzone. I've been doing the same ever since.

Hey, it's all good! I may not agree with the policy, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. The reason I'm so anal about this is that I've seen a lot of people post their own blog just to get traffic. If you've got good content, I won't complain too loudly. :-)

ok, so the entire post (admittedly well written) can be summarized as:
sites are simple applications
beware of feature creep
complexity costs money

you need an executive summary for your blog DK
nice Theseus analogy though

I'll make sure to add the exec summary along with a bogus pie chart and a photo of some attractive, ethnically diverse people drinking coffee, looking thoughtful and pointing at a white board.
