Let me admit that I'm taking some (now not so) secret pleasure from watching Apache Harmony die a slow and inevitable death. When the project was first announced in May 2005, I was fairly sceptical about its purpose, but seeing the names of several respected GNU Classpath hackers on the initial announcement I was more excited about what the "collaboration" might bring.
