Jigloo or Visual Editor? If you've tried Jigloo by Cloudgarden you are probably also annoyed by its constant warnings and modifications to your code. Here is a comparison between Jigloo and Visual Editor.

Over the last couple days I've been using VE and have found it does not recognize builders yet Jigloo does. I've been using the FormLayout from JGoodies and this doesn't seem to be recognized at all by Visual Editor. Once you have the hang of building Swing or SWT GUIs, you'll probably find, like I did, that GUI builders are not all they're cracked up to be.

Your comment about the constant warnings has been heard and version 3.9.4 of Jigloo (just released) only shows the "nag" popup once per Eclipse session now.

If you want to give an example of how jigloo modifies your code when you don't want it to you can post it here or on the forum at cloudgarden.com and I will see what can be done about it. And if you have any other suggestions please post them them too.

Thanks and I'll give this another shot. Since my original post I switched over my development environment to Netbeans using Matisse as my gui builder.
