PHPulse is the FASTEST PHP based MVC framework in the world! It is built to be EXTREMELY lightweight and fast with a modular development environment allowing for quick plug-n-play functionality to be added merely by dropping in extra modules.

I'm probably going to be modded down for this, but:

$fastest_php_based_mvc_framework_count++;

Are there any benchmarks to prove it is the fastest? I'd bet on the lightest since it appears to only deal with MVC and nothing more. But I have a couple of problems:

1. It still has to use some form of reflection, which isn't going to make it faster
2. It uses Smarty which is infamous for having poor performance.
3. You define "areas" in a database which is used by the controller, I think, which can't improve performance.

So voted down for baseless title just trying get clicks and views.

They are just claiming to be the fastest with out any numbers to back it up.
Looking at the code you can't compare it to one of the quality frameworks like zend, symfony, or solar.
