First part in a series about a build system for complex cross-platform C/C++ projects. This build system has no build files. It follows the convention over configuration principle and can generate build files for popular IDEs like Visual Studio and NetBeans. The build system is implemented in Python and allows full debugging of the build process itself + other goodies.
