The PHP open source community welcomes the new Twitter, a micro-blogging service based on the Free Software Laconica tool.

What I would love to see is interoperability between these "twitter servers".
I mean, user X on identi.ca can follow user Y on twitter.com
I think you can build de-centralized "twitter service" providers communicating between them through APIs.
