The second part in my series of blogs describing the construction of an in-car informatics system using a Raspberry Pi, Java and JavaFX. In this part we look at the basics of communication between the Java application and the car information systems using an ELM327 Wi-Fi interface. Soon, we'll get to actually using a Raspberry Pi.
