PHP never stops surprising me. I just found out that you’re able to return values from the inclusion statements (require, require_once, include and include_once) through an example of Zend_Config.

My advice is to read the manual for PHP and all its extensions each time you got nothing to do. There's really a lot of little tips like these in there.

And especially check-out the comments that have been left by other people. There are usually some extremely useful examples and "gotchas" too.
