This would fix Maven: Download All Dependencies at Once
Really. I'm sick of watching Maven download the Internet, and I wish it worked more like Git. I would really like someone to create a repository that understands the true benefit of these tool would be to consolidate dependency calculations in a single place. Maven needs to stop being so chatty and just talk to tools that can offload some of the work.
