When do we do our best work? When we’re excited about something. Excitement morphs into motivation. We do our best work when we’re motivated. A great way to stay motivated is to work on something new. No one likes being stuck on a project that never seems to end.

Good post but the author missed one other critical point. Big Bang deployment(i.e completing/putting out large projects all at once) also leads to difficult to find errors. When a project is delivered in iterations according to the principles of XP(extreme programming) it becomes much easier to adjust and react to user feedback and bugs.
