Thank goodness none of that applies to where I work...a small tech company with 22 employees and and IT staff of myself and my boss...and we work great together with communication as a strong backbone.

You are quite right about these things. Unfortunately, this is making me re-think my current employment situation. Although we are healthier than some, many of these points are quite evident in our company.
