In general, I hate Top 5 lists. And they're completely useless if they don't have any commentary at all justifying their inclusion in the list. For example: Mailfactory--what distinguishes it from ActionMailer? What exactly puts Bishop and Linguistics ahead of other useful gems like capistrano, hpricot, and ferret?
